Dr  F. Asselin was a GEC associate at Mount Sinai Medical Center, on staff at Paukman Medical Associates, Executive Health. She also was on the Board of  The Doctor's Consultants as well as with Corporate Wellness. She worked extensively in the primary care sector as well as in corporate health. 

She has been very involved in preventive aspect of medicine and founded "Personal Wellness Programs" . She worked with programs involving the American Cancer Society, the American Heart Association. In the corporate sector she was very involved with the New York Business Group on Health. As a staff member of Corporate Wellness she was the Medical Review Officer for many companies such as DLJ, BBDO, Associated Press, First Boston, Swiss Banks.. She was the Medical Coordinator for The Doctor's Consultants Physicians Service PC, a multi specialty practice. She  was also very involved in the development of education programs for corporation in prevention and health care cost reduction. .  As a physician she was very active  in the New York Medical Society, the Women Medical Association and several other professional associations.

In 1998 she left the private practice of medicine to pursue other goals. As HMO governed more and more the practice of Medicine, she felt very strongly that it posed many ethical issues that made the practice of medicine very difficult. She continued to be involved in the corporate sector in publishing educational programs . She also has been active in Non-for Profit organizations such as GetWell.org (GetWell Education Foundation),  National Federation of Women., AMA..

Dr  F. Asselin has always held an important role in health care cost reduction, by educating patient about prevention, as well as fighting health care fraud at the corporate level. She has received many awards for her involvements.

In 2000 after contracting a serious illness in the previous years, she was the victim of her own efforts. Patients who had been discharged several years ago for suspicion of False Claims were successful in having her license removed. Every since than she has been battling through the legal system to be heard by the New York State Education Department. Despite that she has continued her efforts in Health Care Cost Reduction and Fraud Prevention.
